If swchit were to be installed in just 10% of Los Angeles' households, we could be saving 900,000 gallons per day. Imagine that... in every city.
The year was 2015 and the Californian drought reached its peak- statewide water levels were at an all time low and had taken a toll on the state's iconic wildlife and landscape. Swchit, initially the brainchild of a middle school student, was born during these dire circumstances. The concept is simple: if each of us could save just a little water every day, it would eventually add up.
While dual mode toilet tanks and HETs do exist, they can be really expensive, and at times, even inefficient.
As of now, swchit is in the pre manufacturing phase. After raising enough funds for a utility patent, a new testing model has been 3D printed! Depending on the current situation surrounding COVID-19, a Kickstarter Campaign for large-scale production may be unveiled later in 2020. In the meantime, click the button below to have swchit in your home and be our next trial household!
